Looking for a place to celebrate, gather, or host? Riverside Community Club offers a spacious riverside hall, a full commercial kitchen, and four acres on the Shuswap River, all at a price that leaves room in your budget. We offer two kinds of rentals. Full-day rentals for weddings and events, open to everyone. And short-term hourly rentals for members hosting smaller community activities. Full-Day Rentals
Book the whole hall and grounds for your day. Weddings, receptions, reunions, and fundraisers all feel right at home here.
The Details
- Room for 210 standing, or 140 seated at tables for a full sit-down meal
- 2,300 square feet of open space, with beautiful birch floors throughout
- A raised stage, ready for speeches, a head table, a band, or a DJ
- Indoor men’s and ladies’ washrooms
- A separate area to get ready, perfect for the wedding party or performers before the event
- Special event lighting with dimmers to set the mood, plus fluorescent overhead lighting for setup and cleanup
- Your rental runs a full 24 hours, 10:00 AM to 10:00 AM, so you can decorate the day before and clean up the morning after without rushing
- Large prep area with island and counter space
- Two standard stoves plus a professional 6-burner gas range (fits large baking trays)
- Two double sinks and one commercial sink
- Commercial dish sanitizer
- One standard refrigerator and one commercial sliding-door refrigerator

Full-Day Rates & Deposits
The Costs
- Rental rate. $350, $550, or $600 per day depending on eligibility, see the rate table above. Your rental runs a full 24 hours, 10:00 AM to 10:00 AM the next morning.
- $500 non-refundable booking deposit. Due at booking to confirm and hold your date.
- $500 refundable damage deposit. Returned after checkout, once the hall is confirmed damage-free and the cleaning list is complete.
- Payment. Deposits and rent are paid by e-transfer, or by cheque mailed to Riverside Hall.
What You’ll Need
- Liability insurance. Renters must carry Commercial General Liability insurance of at least $2 million, naming Riverside Community Club Society as an additional insured. Proof of insurance is due at least 2 weeks before your rental.
- Serving alcohol. You’ll need a provincial liquor permit and Host Liquor Liability insurance of at least $2 million, also naming the Club. Serving It Right is required.
- Need help? The Club can refer a local insurance broker experienced with our rentals.
By the Hour Rentals
Short-term hourly rentals are offered to Riverside Community Club members for events that fit our mission: to foster and promote sporting, recreational, charitable, educational, and social activities. A short description of your event is required for review. Not a member yet? Joining is easy and only a few dollars a year.

Frequently Asked Questions
There’s now a tiered rate: $350 for the Loyalty Rate (3+ years membership, in the Trinity Valley/Ashton Creek catchment), $550 for Area F residents, and $600 for all other renters. To book, you’ll pay a $500 non-refundable deposit and a $500 refundable damage deposit. Deposits and rent are paid by e-transfer or by cheque mailed to Riverside Hall.
A rental day is a full 24-hour period, from 10:00 AM to 10:00 AM the next morning. That gives you time to decorate the day before and clean up the following morning without rushing.
Yes, for full-day rentals. You’ll need Commercial General Liability Insurance of at least $2 million, naming Riverside Community Club Society as an additional insured, with proof provided at least 2 weeks before your rental. If anyone is staying overnight on the grounds, the policy must include overnight coverage.
If serving alcohol, you’ll need a provincial liquor permit and Host Liquor Liability Insurance of at least $2 million, also naming the Club as an additional insured, provided at least 2 weeks before your rental. If guests are bringing their own alcohol not covered under your permit, your coverage needs to include BYOB liquor.

There is no cost, or a donation, for past or present community members within the Trinity Valley/Ashton Creek catchment area. A $200 refundable damage deposit and a $100 cleaning fee apply, and you’ll need to complete the online booking request.
