The Riverside Community Club Board of Directors leads the Club and carries out our mission: to foster and promote sporting, recreational, charitable, educational, and social activities. It’s a hands-on, rewarding way to help shape what happens in our community.
What the Board Does
Over the years, our Board has organized and hosted all kinds of events that bring the community together:
- Dances, like our Halloween party and New Year’s Eve
- Food events, like Oktoberfest, Beer and Wings night, Mexican night, Pancake Breakfasts, and Community Kitchens
- Family events, like Family Day, BC Rivers Day, the Community Block Party, and the Christmas Bonfire
Beyond events, the Board looks after maintaining and upgrading the hall, including our small water system, and the grounds.
What’s Expected
- Attend monthly meetings, held the third Wednesday of each month from 6:30 to 8:00 PM
- Sit on a committee that interests you
- Pitch in at community events and step up where needed
- Uphold the Club’s bylaws and governing policies
